But when the prince arrived, the people served him a cup that erased his memory.
He forgot that he was the king's son.
He forgot the pearl... And fell into a deep sleep.
The king, however, did not forget his son. He continued sending messages... Messengers... Guides.
But the prince slept...

This ancient narrative symbolizes the journey of the soul in Samsara, the incessant flow of rebirths through the worlds, experienced by all beings. In this journey, no matter how blessed an existence may be, suffering persists. Even the most enlightened beings are still subject to the laws of the world and the return to a new human life. Only enlightenment through the revolution of consciousness can break this cycle of rebirths and deaths.
The Veil of Maya and the Forgetfulness of Truth
Forgotten from our original state, sons and daughters of the Absolute continue wandering like sleepwalkers in this illusory world, called Maya by the Hindus. This veil of ignorance prevents humanity from seeing the immortality of the soul and the transience of human life. Like the young prince, upon entering Samsara, we become intoxicated by our senses and material pleasures, losing the memory of the true purpose of this great journey.
Our Inner Father, however, does not give up on us. He sends us in search of the pearl of knowledge, the human experience as learning and spiritual growth. But as we immerse ourselves in worldly existence, we forget our divine origin and become trapped in the endless cycle of desires and dissatisfaction.
The Messengers of Awakening
From time to time, Masters, Avatars, Saints, and Guides are sent by the Heavenly Father. They bring liberating teachings, secret keys, and secrets for our consciousness. Their words and examples are beacons in the darkness, trying to remind us of the purpose of our mission in human life.
However, how many truly awaken? Most remain asleep, absorbed in the charms of the phenomenal world, unable to perceive the illusion that surrounds them. Samsara keeps turning, and those who do not awaken continue returning, repeating the same experiences, trapped in a cycle that seems endless.
The Path to Liberation
The awakening of consciousness is the key to escaping Samsara. Remembering our origin, seeking the pearl of wisdom, and transcending the shackles of illusion is the true purpose of the human journey.
Meditation, self-knowledge, the practice of detachment, and the search for higher truths are paths to liberation. We need to open our eyes, listen to the calls of the Masters, and respond to the invitation to awaken.
The prince may be sleeping... But at any moment, he can wake up.
And then, he will remember who he truly is.
