Have you ever heard of the Galactic Command or the Ashtar Command? For some, leader Ashtar Sheran is said to be the commander of a fleet of thousands of spaceships.

These ships belonging to the Great Brotherhood of Light, with the mission to assist humanity in its spiritual evolution and protect it from cosmic threats. But, is this true? Let's explore this mysterious subject!

Who is Ashtar Sheran?

Ashtar, or Ashtar Sheran, is often described as an extraterrestrial being or even a group of interdimensional beings who would have sent channeled messages to various individuals. His profile is that of a wise, benevolent, and loving spiritual leader, at the helm of a fleet of spaceships with the mission to promote peace, spiritual evolution, and harmony between civilizations, especially humanity on Earth. According to these accounts, he would serve as a spiritual guide, always focused on helping humanity reach a higher level of consciousness.

However, there’s a crucial point to highlight: all of these claims lack scientific proof. There has never been an official confirmation from world leaders about such contacts, and there is also no concrete evidence that this “Ashtar Command” actually exists.

Representation of the large intergalactic community

The First Mention of Ashtar: The Story of George Van Tassel

The first public appearance of Ashtar occurred in 1952, through George Van Tassel, a UFO enthusiast. He claimed to receive telepathic messages from Ashtar, who was said to be an extraterrestrial and interdimensional being. These messages addressed spiritual issues, particularly the concerns about advancements in nuclear technology.

On July 18, 1952, Ashtar was proclaimed commander of the Ashtar Galactic Command, a fleet that supposedly entered the solar system to warn about the imminent danger of the hydrogen bomb. The messages from Ashtar, channeled by Van Tassel, warned about the potential harm to Earth if humans used nuclear energy irresponsibly. When nuclear bomb tests occurred in the following years without the promised apocalypse, followers justified it by claiming that Ashtar and his cosmic forces had prevented the catastrophe.

Apocalyptic Prophecies and the Controversial Outcome

And here comes the second controversial point: Ashtar’s apocalyptic predictions never came true. Over the decades, various prophecies about galactic rescues and catastrophic events failed to materialize. This raises the question: are the failed prophecies truly signs of divine intervention, or are they merely unfounded claims?

As time passed and the predictions continued to fail, the Ashtar Command movement began to evolve. No longer was Ashtar discussed as an apocalyptic savior, but as an "Ascended Master," a spiritual figure who would help humanity in its evolutionary journey. The concept of an "Ascended Master" was not new; it already appeared in esoteric movements, particularly in Theosophy, which also mentioned extraterrestrial beings.

The Connection to Theosophy and the Enigma of 1977

In the 1970s, the Ashtar phenomenon gained new attention when, in 1977, a broadcast on Southern Television was interrupted by a voice identifying itself as Vrillon from the Ashtar Galactic Command. The message was broadcast to the public in southern England, causing a great stir and renewing interest in the subject.

However, the messages and experiences of contact with Ashtar continue to be sources of controversy. Several mediums and ufologists claim to have received messages from Ashtar, but the information is often conflicting. What is the truth behind these messages? Who is really receiving the correct contact?

The Future of the Prophecies: 2029 and Beyond

Despite all the errors in Ashtar’s prophecies, some still believe that intergalactic contact is about to happen. Groups promoting the idea of the Ashtar Command continue to speak about important dates, with the next perhaps in 2029. And if nothing happens, the next "big event" could be expected in 2035 or even 2040! But once again, all of this lacks real evidence and confirmation.

Final Reflections: What Is Really Happening?

Despite the claims of contacts with Ashtar and the belief in his mission to protect and guide humanity, there is no physical or scientific evidence confirming his existence or that of his intergalactic fleet. The question remains: Are we being watched and helped by beings from other dimensions, or are we simply searching for something to believe in to cope with life’s uncertainties?
