In a world where the search for knowledge and truth seems increasingly diluted by materiality, there are those who walk silently, guarding humanity's greatest mysteries.
They are the Initiates of the Flame, purified souls who, like priests from ancient times, protect the sacred fire burning on the altar of humanity. They are the guardians of a divine principle, hidden beneath the ruins of a temple that, though fallen, still retains its essence alive.
Even in our modern civilization, few are able to perceive the presence of these beings. In their invisible journeys, they observe and protect the sacred fire of life, that spiritual principle that, although concealed, never dies. Throughout history, we have seen the rise and fall of great nations—Greece, Rome, Egypt—that flourished and, in the end, succumbed. But the flame never goes out; it moves, reinvents itself, and the Initiates continue their mission, feeding the light of humanity.
The truth that these great civilizations were unaware of is revealed in the very reasons for their decline: the loss of their inner light. When the spiritual light goes out, the body of the nation also dies. In the case of Greece and Rome, degeneration, lust, and the loss of spiritual values weakened the souls of their citizens. Egypt, the cradle of wisdom, was also engulfed by the darkness of Black Magic, obscuring the flame that sustained its greatness. The result was the fall of entire nations, buried under the ashes of their own spiritual loss.
But the flame, that eternal light, cannot die. It never goes out because it is the essence of life itself. When a nation loses its connection with it, the flame moves to other places, other peoples, and other times. Thus, the cycle continues, and new civilizations can rise and grow around this sacred light.
Those who reverence this flame, once called "pagans," have in their essence a divine connection. When baptized in the Holy Spirit, which is fire, they become the children of the Flame, the Children of Light, as God is Light. These initiates dedicated their lives to divine service, sacrificing themselves to help humanity discover and nurture this inner spark, which is an inherent right of all. Through centuries of study and silent work, they revealed the mysteries they guarded, and humanity began to understand the true meaning of life and the universe.
However, these great masters remained humble, without the honor or recognition they deserved. Their lives, now turned into myths and legends, became stories told to children. But the time will come when the world will recognize the greatness of the work these Children of the Flame carried out. Our modern civilization, with all its wisdom, is built upon the shoulders of these powerful demigods of the past. Yet, like Faust, we remain blind to the truths that were given to us, unable to accept the evidence of their experiences.
It is time to honor these masters, not merely with words, but by living in a way that their sacrifice will not have been in vain. They showed the way, opened the doors to the unknown, and passed through the Veil with courage and wisdom. Their lives were the key to universal mysteries, and although they have disappeared, they remain as historical landmarks, indicating humanity's progress.
On our spiritual journey, we can see their reflections in great figures such as Orpheus, Hermes, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, Zoroaster, Confucius, Odin, and Moses. All of them were Children of the Flame, beings who came from the same divine source and returned to it. They had no creed or clan; their only mission was to serve the great ideal, to work for the good of humanity. They were, and are, living examples of the divine flame that burns in all of us.
Each of us carries that flame within, and it is up to us to nourish it, cultivate it, and share it with the world. We are children of God, born in the Flame, like sparks emanating from the wheels of infinity. As we grow in light and wisdom, we must serve the Flame, recognizing that it is in all created things, uniting us all in a single essence. The lower man must bow before this flame, for it is the source of his evolution. When we serve the Flame, it grows within us, and with it, we also grow, until we take our place alongside the true Initiates of the universe.
It is our mission to find and serve this Flame, recognizing its presence in all forms of life, and thus contribute to the ascension of all humanity. The divine flame never dies. It remains in all of us, waiting to be awakened and nourished. May we be the true children of this eternal light and continue the legacy of the Initiates of the Flame, as guardians of the truth and the divine spirit that guides us on our journey.
